Hi guys,
I tried to find a solution here and on the internet but to no avail.. So I'm creating this topic, hoping for a solution to my strange problem :
I'm trying to use various 4K mods on Persona 5 (4K UI for example), so I used the custom RPCS3 with extra vram which was given with the 4K UI mod, but it's giving me extra low FPS when launching P5. With 60 FPS mod enabled and working, I see it's dipping from 60 to 5-8 FPS during the train "white windows" animation.
I first thought it was because of the mods, but it seems the custom build runs slow even without mods.. I tried with various patch.yml files, mod.cpk but it's the same.. I find it strange because I just built a new beefy PC (Ryzen 5800x @ 4.7Ghz, RTX3080 also OCed) and it runs perfectly P5 on the regular RPCS3 build at 60 FPS. But i don't understand why the custom build doesn't work properly.. As I must use a custom build in order to use 4K mods, I'm blocked here :(
Did anyone have this problem ? Is it necessary to have a specific configuration for it ?
I tried to copy the custom exe on fresh RPCS3 installs also, same problem.. Also I couldn't find a more recent custom build with extra vram than the one given with 4K UI mod, I don't know if it would help me.
Thanks a lot for your help in advance :)

Are the mods compatible together? I've never done 4k, but that's my first question

Still crashing with the same error. Only happen when using the 4KUI mod though, if I use HD2x it works fine. Maybe an incompatibility between the 4KUI mod and the newest rpcs3? Or maybe 2Gb vram is not enough at 4k

Works fine on my 5600x, but it seems like patch.yml needs to be updatedScarltz wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:20 am The rpcs3 build included with the 4k mod is severely outdated, I'm currently maintaining Rexis' build now

The new(er) version of RPCS3 needs to have the "patch.yml" file in the "patches" folder I believe.Artur16 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 16, 2021 12:14 amWorks fine on my 5600x, but it seems like patch.yml needs to be updatedScarltz wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:20 am The rpcs3 build included with the 4k mod is severely outdated, I'm currently maintaining Rexis' build now

Beta morgana is nightmare fuel lol
It's a compatibility problem with the Ryzen 5000 series and RPSC3, right click on Persona 5, click on "Custom Config Folder", go into the config that matches your game version, search for the line "Use LLVM CPU" and enter znver2 within the quotation marks, save, and you should be fine.
