Re: [P3P] Name Change Values?
The P3P save files are encrypted, and as far as I know, there is no way to decrypt them, and the PARAM.SFO file can be modified with hex editing, but it doesn't change the real values from the game data. The eboot.bin just references the save files with variables, so I think is not possible to chang...

Re: Extracting voice-files
And, if you refer to the PS2 version, they are inside DATA.CVM\MODEL\PACK (battle), and DATA.VCM\SOUND (events).

Re: Persona 3 FES ADX file Question
Persona games like to repeat everything, even when is not necessary. Every time you found a duplicated file like that, I suggest you change any of both with the one you want and replace the remaining one with a placeholder, then test it. That's the best way to tell which is which.

Re: Help with Modding P3P
Is not really required to extract the contents inside the umd0.cpk unless you're going to mod the game files. If you want to play a mod and not modify anything, open the iso, extract the umd0.cpk as InfernoMerrick told you, and save it wherever you want. Open ModCompendium and in the top left corner...

Re: How to edit P3P .dat files?
I realized that the actual Persona names are inside init_free.bin>battle/MSG.TBL>MSG(03).DAT . You can open the init_free.bin and extract the mentioned .dat file, modify it with HxD, and replace it when finished (I recommend you to do this instead of editing the MSG.TBL file as a whole). That's how ...

Re: How to edit P3P .dat files?
Some texts are hardcoded inside the eboot.bin file, although you can find the same texts in tbl files, are not used by the game. The text inside the eboot.bin is: - Enemies names. - Personas names. - Skills Names (not the Attack names such as Slash Attack, those are inside init_free.bin>battle/MSG.T...

Re: Translate problems
I don't know about P4G, but I know about P3P, and the only time that happened to me was when I was translating the entrance messages in school, for whatever reason, the game decided to crash whenever the game load one of these. The only way to fix that was by editing the text from Persona Editor ins...

Adding a two hex-values character with Hex Editing (P3P)
Hi guys, after a lot of trial and error, I found a way to edit the encrypted eboot.bin file (Using PPSSPP: Settings>Tools>Developer Tools>Dump decrypted EBOOT.BIN on game boot). Now I can edit the menus, All-Out Attacks, etc. with hex editing, but I have a question, it's possible to add special char...

Re: A Compilation of Questions and Steps on P3P for Translation
About your questions: 1) The text box can hold at least 12 lines. I'm sure you can add more than 12 lines inside a text without crashing/softlocking the game, but I've never tried it myself. The line's length has no limits either, but of course, after a certain point, the text would be off-screen. ...
