How to hide/disable P5's date/borders.

There's an executable patch that hides HUD elements such as the date, name of the map, minimap, button prompts etc. called p5_NoHudLite which might be what you're looking for.
Although more difficult, it might also be possible to dummy out the graphics (likely a few SPR/PLG files) similar to the kaleidoscope mod, but only if you want to keep certain things and not others.

I was hoping someone knows which graphic files you need to edit to at least keep the in-game date from showing. The borders I can live with.
