How to edit saves in P5?

I was watching ShrineFox's video on how to add Akechi to your party permanently but the video where it explains how to edit saves is private, could someone explain how you edit saves? Thanks a lot

In the case of the Akechi video, the only difference would be hex editing the save data once decrypted and then encrypting it again instead of using Bruteforce's cheat function.
