P5 Black Screen

Hi all!

The last several days ive been trying to get the ingame mod menu running on my PS3, but I had several problems

Im currently on 4.85 HFM with HEN on a superslim PS3 and have a US P5 PSN version (NPUB31848) with some DLC. What I did was:

- pulled eboot.bin from the USRDIR folder from NPUB31848
- Decrypted my eboot.bin with trueancestor slef resigner to get an eboot.elf
- edited the patch.yml to only leave the mod support active
- patched the eboot.elf with rpcs3patcheboot
- resigned the modded eboot.elf as a CEX NPDRM eboot
- transfer back said eboot and mod.cpk to the USRDIR folder

now, my game does not boot. It does boot with my original eboot.bin, but black screens me when I try to boot with the new modded eboot.bin

Do you guys have any leads on what could I be doing wrong? I noticed the patched eboot.bin is half the size of my original eboot.bin (aroung 7MB, when the original was 16MB). The output method on trueancestor says 4.XX STD, which I honestly dont know what it means
