Introducing the battle portraits in COLOUR!

This is inspired by the battle portraits in Persona 5: Scramble when you are in combat. Please make sure to place this higher than any other mod in the Mod Compendium that alters the battle portraits such as the Kasumi over Haru mod and the Darkechi mod. I will make another version of this mod that will be compatible with the two other mods I just mentioned (meaning it will go over the Kasumi+Darkechi patch).

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this splash of color from my first ever mod! ^_^

Nice job, I love this idea! It's great how certain elements of Scramble's UI can also work so well in P5. Color coding them makes it easier to tell at a quick glance who is who, so it has some utility as well. Looking forward to the compatibility with those other mods!

Nice mod! Do you think there is a way to modify the transparency of those textures ?

Thank you! And yes, by simply turning down the opacity and making sure it's a png when saving. Why do you ask?

I am trying to modify some of the UI elements, namely the black background when selecting persona skill or items during fights. (battle/command.pac/btl_persona.GMD for the persona skill selection)
I'd like to make them more transparent, because there are some nice character animations occurring behind. We can't seem them very well in game because the background is too opaque.

Ah I see what you mean. Well, if you can try and find the texture file and export it as a png, then you can adjust to your liking in something like Photoshop. Iirc, GMD is the model file, so you should be able to get the dds as the texture file. There's a dds plugin for Photoshop somewhere on the internet if that's your tool of choice and I can link you the one I have if you want.

i think if its a .GMD you can just make it render in "translucent" mode and it should be 100% invisible (atleast it should)
Random human with one braincell

Looking at the file it's already translucent. I didn't find any parameter controlling the intensity of the transparency

UPDATE: So I've noticed a few transparent pixels, mainly on Makoto. I've done my best to fix them out, but it still persists. I'll see if there are other methods I can use in case I may I have to redo. The link is now updated to version 1.2, however the Makoto issue is still slightly noticeable.

Regarding Kasumi and Darkechi: They're working, but... due to how the Darkechi + Kasumi Patch is set up, I've had to redo all the active portraits, and even then, I'm greeted with a bad case of stray and transparent pixels, causing the colors to not be completely solid and look poorly done. My only guess is that they're maybe a lower quality than the original, so I'll have to look for a workaround. I also noticed one of Kasumi's battle portraits seems to be off-center, so I will look into fixing that if I can.
I would like to post it for everyone to use, but at its current state, it's a WIP and I would like it to be as complete as possible before making it public.

Any tips and/or advice is greatly appreciated!
(Also Kasumi is a different shade of red compared to Joker)
