Changed Textures, But They Won't Show Up (P4G PC)

I changed all of the protagonist's textures in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Persona 4 Golden\mods\data00003\tex2\model\player
and yet I'm still getting his default textures in cutscenes like meeting Dojima for the first time at the beginning of the game. Help?

There are many duplicates of those same textures stored in the game's files. If you enable the console in Reloaded you'll be able to see which files the game is trying to access.
