Persona 5 Royal English Mod Menu

Will it be possible to make the mod menu available for he english version of P5R and not only the JP one?

I'm sure it would work with the English one already, but I would just need a dump of update 1.01 to base fake update PKGs off of.
We're fortunate that version is for firmware 7.02, just like the base game, so it's at least possible to dump one of the updates. The newest one requires 7.50.
Unfortunately that means you must have installed Royal on 7.02, updated it once to 1.01 and then never touched the system again, which sounds like an extremely narrow subset of people... As soon as I get my hands on that I'll gladly update P5R support in the Mod Compendium though!

It shouldn't be too much longer before someone dumps it I hope. The low 10% success rate the exploit currently has might also be discouraging for those who want to try to dump it. I would expect to at least see the English base game start cropping up soon.

Ooh awesome! Thanks so much, that's way sooner than I expected to see this. I'll see what I can do with this right away. Would love to see a backport to 5.05 too if at all possible, so that we can enjoy this on firmwares with more stable exploits.

EDIT: Oh nice, it looks like it's already for 6.50 which means it should work for firmware 6.72 at least.

Incredible, you're a lifesaver! Now I can add support for all firmwares. I assume using the 5.05 one as a base would guarantee compatibility up to 7.02. Once I have this tested I'll push the update

I'm not sure about the 6.72 since I still use the 5.05 firmware, but since its 6.50 it should work on 6.72.

EDIT: just saw some comments about people installing it on 6.72 saying it works, so yea you can have 5.05/6.72/7.02 compatibility.

Is that 1fichier update pkg supposed to be any different from the filecrypt one? By comparing the binaries they appear identical. If that means it supported 5.05 all along, that's still pretty cool. Just wanna make sure though since I only have 6.72 to test with

Well the one from filecrypt is only for 6.72/7.02, so since I only have 5.05, I backported it to 5.05 to be able to test the game. Been playing the game for some hours now and no issues with it.

To be honest I didnt try to install it directly and run the game, but I saw people not being able to play it on 5.05 so I just made the backport.
