Balancing Overhaul/Harder Difficulty Option (P4G PC)

Something to make the game feel more challenging would be awesome. Plenty of other turn based JRPGs I've played tend to have some sort of new increased difficulty option that I've seen implemented in different ways. I am in no way a modder nor do I have any idea the difficulty associated with creating a mod like this for P4G so I'd be interested to here if this is even a possibility or not. Thanks :D
