An incredibly in-depth, massive overhaul of nearly every active skill in Persona 3. Previous mods Modern Skill Rebalance and Faithful Party Rebalance are integrated, with additional tweeks to both.

Generally higher accuracy rates, with some exceptions
Higher critical rates for nearly every move
Rebalanced HP cost for physical moves
Shock/ Freeze rates altered to be better for medium - heavy moves, less broken for severe
Healing spells reduced in cost to compensate for items with party control
Higher instant kill effect rates, now in line with Persona 5 and SMT IV
Higher status effect rates, in line with Persona 5
Greatly reduced SP cost of certain extremely pricey moves, like Break skills and Megido
Cost of certain Fusion Spells reduced to increase their usefulness
Power of some physical moves increased toward late game
Buffs/ Debuffs cost slightly more
Tetrakarn/Makarakarn cost less but are now single target
Weary Thrust/ Vorpal Blade glitch has been patched
The above two moves do extra damage (but not as much with their bonus) in The Answer
Twelve skills are added, inspired by moves in later Persona games
Personas will naturally learn these new skills, but they cannot be passed via Fusion
Most party members have additional skills
Junpei, Koromaru, and Ken have an altered skill progression

Feature Update 1
  • Akihiko learns Debilitate over Masukunda

    Aigis learns Heat Riser over Masukukaja

    Shinjiro learns Regenerate 3 and Phys Skill Up

    Akasha Arts and Gigantic Fist are now rebalanced as well. This includes every physical skill in the game.

    Nearly all Physical skills have increased power, most to a multiple of 1.25x. May be further edited in the future

    Critical hit rates for Sonic Punch, Brave Blade, Mighty Swing, Scarlet Havoc, and Shadow Hound have been reduced by 5%

    Pralaya, Vorpal Blade, and Heaven's Blade cost 1% less HP

    Weary Thrust and Scarlet Havoc had their costs increased slightly

    Fixed a bug involving Primal Darkness in the final boss of The Answer that has existed since v1 of MSR

    Descriptions for physical skills were supposed to receive alterations since in the original release. They are now altered

    Descriptions for single target ailments now mention their higher rate over multi-target ailments

    Spreadsheet is now extra detailed + looks quite hot if I do say so myself

    You can now use Primal Darkness with cheats in The Journey

Too much work was put into this update

-Compatible with Aemulus Package Manager

-AI altered so that party members will use any of the four new custom skills (Heat Riser, Debilitate, Sanctify, Desecrate) assigned to them

-AI altered so that party members will use Power Charge in Full Assault if they have it (this and the above bullet took FOREVER)

-Weapons and Equipment that grant certain passives now state what passive they bestow

-Certain vague equipment descriptions have been replaced by their more specific skill descriptions

-Attack/ Magic Mirrors have been single target since v1.2, description now reflects this change

If you find any bugs I'll do my best to fix them, so let me know! I uh take donations see the YT vid's description. More updates are planned, but I'd first like to port this over to Portable before any other major revisions, although who knows.

Shrinefox if you're reading this put the new video in place of the old one, thx<3

Added New Moon Lite, compatible with all save files.

Same as the base mod except no skill progression changes for party members.

New Moon Feature Update 3: Redone physical scaling, elemental damage checked, life drain no longer does set damage, Elizabeth has extra style, a graphic indication for the mod when you start it up, and a plethora of optimizations, alterations, and bugfixes

In the planning stage for another Feature Update, going to be doing some edits to specific bosses (key issues being bosses that had Tetra/Makarakarn with multiple enemies, Hama/Mudo boost in addition to buffed instant kill rates, etc) to be more in line with their vanilla versions, and minor optimization

Feature Update 4 has been released.

-Bosses that are in a group and had Makarakarn or Tetrakarn now have Makarakarn+ or Tetrakarn+. Works on all targets, exclusive to bosses only
-(The Answer) Tranquil Idol no longer has Mudo Boost due to increased instant kill rates, has Mudoon instead of Mudo to compensate
-(The Answer) Kaiden Musha no longer has Hama Boost, has Samsara instead of Mahamaon to compensate
-(The Answer) Onnen Musha no longer has Mudo Boost, has Die for Me! instead of Mamudoon to compensate
-(The Answer) Archeron Seeker no longer has Hama and Mudo Boost, now has Sanctify over Hamaon and Desecrate over Mudoon to compensate
-AI has been altered to work with the above changes

Wanted to retain the original style of several boss fights. The changes to New Moon greatly altered how some of these bosses operate (near perfect instant kills or broken Makarakarn AI for a select few), so this should fix that.

Bosses that are solo still have standard Makarakarn/ Tetrakarn (such as the second November full moon fight and certain phases of the final boss)

I think the increasing of Strega's HP is a really good idea. The bosses are strangely underwhelming given the amount of power most players have by that point in the game, such it has felt to me like they were balanced around those that did much less grinding. (Though I hate to think what Nyx would've been like for a player under-levelled enough.)
