Any way to make the game not crash when you press the touchpad?

In field areas where you'd normally be able to bring up the assist menu if you were connected to PSN, pressing the touch pad instantly crashes the game. Sometimes the PS4 itself. I don't like having a kill switch in my games, so I was wondering if this can be circumvented. Pretty sure this is Mod Menu related.

Never had this happen. Are you sure you have the dns that blocks Sony's servers? Remember to also turn off Network Functionality ingame

Okay, nevermind. Realized it was one of my own mods doing that. Disregard this thread, sorry.
